Paula A. Martin, CPA – Partner

Paula has been in the accounting field for over 3o years, the majority of which have been with Galanti & Co. She started with the firm in 1979 as a staff accountant, working her way through the ranks before becoming a partner in 1986.

Prior to joining Galanti & Co., Paula served as a staff accountant at Alan Burnham, RPA in Sandy Springs. Along with experience in a wide range of tax, audit and accounting, she also specializes in 401(k) plan audits and business consulting for closely-held business and owners. She enjoys providing excellent service and sharing her in-depth knowledge with her clients.

Paula is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Georgia Society of Certified Public Accountants. She is a graduate of Georgia State University, where she received her Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting.

On a Personal Note:

Although originally from Baltimore, Maryland, Paula has spent most of her life in Atlanta.  She has been married for 30 years to Danny, her high school sweetheart. They live in Sandy Springs and have two children: Carolyn, who is attending the University of Georgia, and Kevin, attending Belmont University. She is a diehard Atlanta Braves and Atlanta Falcons fan and likes to play a variety of sports herself.

“I love the fact that I learn something new every day. Tax laws are always changing, so my job is always challenging. I have been in this business long enough to have clients that I have helped open their business, grow it and then sell it and retire. I get a lot of personal satisfaction out of advising people on their finances, whether it be obtaining a loan, buying or selling their company at a great price, saving them money on their personal taxes, minimizing estate taxes, or any other services needed.”
